I had the pleasure of meeting lee while we worked at British Energy. It was literally love at first sight. Although it took us 4 years to become a couple but once we were together we were inseperable. That was 15 years ago. We went onto have 2 beautiful daughters who are now 9yrs and 7yrs old. In feb 2013 Lee was diagnosed with bowel cancer after suffering a perforated bowel. He went in for scans on the bowel and the scans accidentally picked up tumours on the lower part of his lungs too! I guess you could say this was the beginning of the end for us as a family...he went through numerous chemo sessions which did absolutely nothing but never the less he kept fighting. On 3rd August 2013 we got married and tried to carry on as best we could as a family squeezing in as many mmemories as possible. We had only been married 8mths when my poor lee had the news that the cancer had spread to his liver. He didnt last long after this but we made sure he was at home with his family and I cared for him until his last breath. Till death do us part!
